What I don’t understand is that you think a) Israel gives a damn about your security – didn’t see it “siccing” anyone on your behalf after 9/11, even though Mossad agents were seen celebrating the tragedy – or b) that your tax dollars should go to giving $11 billion to a country to actually LESSEN your security.
Most radical Muslims cite Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, Gaza and the Golan – and US’s continued support for it – as one of their principal motivations. So, why are Americans paying through the nose to accelerate their own vulnerability?

Israel is a valuable ally of the US and of course they are interested in our security. We are their biggest supporters. Whether Muslims from a country other than Palestine have the right to attack the US for supporting Israel is a whole nother story.
Anyway the US is hardly under attack. 5 Years of whoop ass on Muslim territory has made a lot of Muslims see that attacking the US a la 9/11 is a bad idea. Do you think that they couldn’t attack us if they really wanted to?

LOL. Ummmm where is this whoop ass that you’re talking about. Do you see the US winning anything? As far as I can see the US isn’t getting anybody’s asses whooped except their own both in Iraq and Afghanistan. Uh and seriously, 9/11 had nothing to do with Iraq anyways so I’m not quite sure what you’re talking about.
Anyways, sorry to digress. I think lobbying groups should be completely done away with. The fact that AIPAC literally dictates US foreign policy in the M.E. is ridiculous. Blindly and irrationally supporting Israel has only hurt the US not helped it and anyone who says otherwise is either an idiot or just plain old delusional
April 6th, 2007 at 3:01 amDepends on what you mean by winning. 6,000 Western dead if you include 9/11, where actually, a lot of people from many different countries were killed, even Muslims. But on the enemy side over 650,000 (and still counting) Muslims dead. Seems like we are winning by any standards if you want to go by body count. Tricking the Muslims into a disgusting, heinous form self genocide was a magnificent plan, worthy of the Mossad, if I do say so myself. Although, it is so easy to incite violence in the Middle East it’s hardly a challenge. But the US does need a trained experienced fighting force and we are getting plenty of practice.
Personally I don’t consider the non-stop slaughter of innocents much of a success but if the insurgents had killed the US occupiers in nearly the same percentage they would be dancing and shooting their guns in the air in happy celebration.
As for lumping Muslims together, they are the ones that do that. They consider themselves to be one people. What matter if we go to Iraq or Afghanistan? It’s only the West that see Muslims as separate entities in their own right. Remember, Egyptians and Saudis, trained in Afghanistan, attacked the Trade Center on the behalf of Palestinians. Very multinational. What did they have in common?
