   As a male, I find this offensive in the extreme. Not to mention: if I were a female, I’d not feel too good about being compared to uncovered meat.

   This type of talk legitimizes gang rapes. Lock him up or throw him out. He’s a menace.

   But I don’t think he’s making a stupid comparison. He’s revealing how he thinks. My take is: he believes that, if we don’t adhere blindly to a set of strict rules, we’ll all behave like animals.

   I have more faith in my fellow humans than that.

   How do people of this intelligence and mentality become leaders of, and thus speakers for, Islamic communities? Who put’s them there? Are they elected? I can’t believe how ridiculous his comments were.

   And millions of people, especially in Egpt, are following his advice. Oh well.

    i reverted to islam in 2006,i wore my headscarf for the entire time,last night i took it off.i know sum may frown at this,however i follow the quran and the sunnah i pray 5times a day i am muslim and inshalla i will always be.i have studyied the hijab for a long time…hijab…to cover modestly to respect your adornments,(i do this).i have come to realise that i am living and breathing to be the best muslim i can for the sake of allah,i am not meat,covered nor uncoverd, men do not look at me any differntly for i dont give them a reason to look, i dress modestly,i cover all that has been mentioned in the quran,i feel safe but headscarf or not i could get attacked, rape is about power a rapist doesnt care if u have a bin bag on,i know girls that have been attacked some have been modest some not,i am annoyed that the comment was made regarding men as cats,my father isnt a cat he has a mind and respects me as i am,i love allah and will continue to be a practicing muslim, whats important is that i pray 5times a day which subhannallah i do.i know some would rather i wear it,but i feel there is so much focus on the headscarf i think women should be modest and safegard their adorments and worship allah as best they can.thank you for your time and i hope i havnt offended anyone.

    it not about what yu were take this for example there are 2 wommen one is covered frm head to toe and one is wearin a skirt to her knees n a tank top! the one tht is covered is a shit talker, munapilative, and a liar but she dcress the part, one is not dressed the part, prays 5 tymes a day, read her quran everyday and is a good person in heart, now whoch one is good in the religon!!think abt it it not abt what yu wear it is your instinct! i dunt believe in forcing a child to wear a hijab i will tell ma children about islam n explain it in the best way possible, i do not wear a hijab myself but i am a good person gurls ma age the wear teh hijab are worse not all but some! i think people who are callin women who do not wear hijab uncovered meat its a discrase to our religion it is not riht what so ever! people need to realx n if im goin to wear a hijab im goin to do it for allah not becus i am forced to i may be only 15 but i have a brain n it works

    1- Creation of Ordo ab chao, that is ,to force all the eastern countries and all the western countries gather in two united blocks, the East and the West.
    The role of Soviet Union as a dummy regime was to confront Europe and USA and strengthen the huge military-industrial complex to create the world’s first superpower capabilities in the USA.After the soviet union role was fulfilled in the end of 70’s, there came the time to unite the now united east with the united west under one umbrella and there were no need for more superpower capabilities because it already existed in a huge and invincible complex in the USA.

    Don’t you see what has happened? Iranian regime ( simultaneously with Saddam Hossein and Taliban in Iraq and Afghanistan) was the substitute for the soviet block dissolution. This time not to strengthen the military power but to create much terror to clear the grounds for the USA police state and EU dictatorship which will be declared very soon indeed.

    i do wear headscrf,hijab.don’t judge muslim women who do’nt wear hijab for they are more intelligent than you think.i know dozens of muslim females who wear hijab and those that don’t. and some that are covered can be so vain and cruel at times,does this make them better in Allah’s sight because of a mere head covering? no!i say be modest,cover your bossom women like the Quran does say. and act accordingly,hijab will not save you.hijab is a great thing,but that alone does not make us great people!my mother and sister in law do not wear one and are 2 of the most responsible,Allah fearing modest muslim people i’ve known for 23 years.i am no better because i wear hijab by far! we are all muslim women and should stop this divide of ibliss’s doing by this horrible judgement and prejudging!

    The fact that you don’t try to see the true reason the man was trying to speak truly amazes me. Of course, his choice of words were not the best but surely you could find some sense in what he is saying? Think of it this way:
    Two women are walking down the street and one is half naked and the other is completely covered–hijaab and all. There is a man waiting at the end of corner, looking for a cute chick to tease and comes across the two women, who do you think he will most likely tease? The half-naked girl, right? I’m not saying it is the girl’s fault that she is dressed the way she is, it is completely the man who is wrong. However, no woman should have to go through such an experience, and it is in the woman’s best interest to try to avoid such a situation from ever presenting itself. Would you go into a battlefield without any way of fighting back or at least defending yourself? Most people wouldn’t, that is why we lock our doors at night and have fences around our homes. It is to assure our own safety.
    If someone breaks into a house, who’s fault is it? The thief or the homeowner? Obviously the thief! But if the person had taken all of the precautions, then such a situation MAY not have presented itself.
    I emphasize may because it is true that people’s homes are still broken into even with the most sophisticated systems. In the same way, even women who cover themselves can at times be raped or treated horribly by men. But just because of this fact, should we not lock our doors? Just because some people with their doors locked have been broken into, should we make it easier for the burglar to break in by keeping our doors open? Of course not. Similarly, one should not think that it doesn’t matter if we are half naked or completely covered. That if someone is going to do something bad to us, it is going to happen either way.

    I’m not trying to compare women and their cloths to doors and locks. I’m simply trying to give everyone an alternative way of looking at this. I was bothered by the man’s choice of words as well. Women are not just meat and that is especially why we should take better care of ourselves, right? ^_^ I hope I didn’t offend anyone and if possible, I hope I was able to get everyone to see this in a different light.
